This is my FIRST Tablescape Thursday so being a beginner I thought I would start out on a smaller scale to get "my feet wet". I have always dreamed of breakfast in bed, it has never happened so I thought why not try it out.
If you haven't already guessed I am obsessed with teacups even the paintings in my home reflect this. I frequently am accused of decorating "too girly" (what did he expect I am a girl) so I have designated Girly Zones.
This is in MY office so girly zone it is. A watercolor that is a favorite.
This one is in the guest room where the girly breakfast in bed takes place.
I set the table of one with a Herend pattern, these were given to me by my grandmother and mother when I was first married. Since then my colors have changed but I just can't part with them.
I have a four generation picture in the guest room, look ladies Breakfast In Bed!
Hummm should I have coffee or tea?
Did I tell you I am plate obsessed too???
Thank you to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for hosting Tablescape Thursday just click here to visit her beautiful blog and find the list of all the ladies (with a direct link) participating today. I look forward to visiting everyone. Thanks for visiting and wishing you a Rosy day.!!!!
Oh by the way I left the tray set up I wonder if anything will come of it???

Oh so pretty! Your guest room is very welcoming and wonderful! My guest room now has my adult daughter living back at home in it. What happened?

I too am obsessed with anything involving teacups (or teapots!). I am also a china fanatic-I can't seem to get enough of it. Everytime I say that I can't have anymore I find that absolutely beautiful vintage dish with the pink roses and scalloped edges and think 'well what's one more piece:)' I really like the lovely pictures and your guest room. By the way, I think definately tea instead of coffee:)
what a beautiful blog! i love your post, just enchanting~ glad to have found your blog.
Everything is beautiful including the room...but that tray is gorgeous! Absolutely breathtaking!
Beautiful room...and who wouldn't love breakfast in bed...and so pretty!
Oh, how sweet! I love your girly girl dishes and they look like they were made for this room and that quilt! Everything is so pretty and I like your tea paintings too! Welcome to Tablescape Tuesday!

What a great idea to do breakfast in bed...I never would have thought about that...you did great for your first time...can't wait to see what you come up with next week...
I would feel like a princess, eating breakfast in bed in those lovely dishes....Christine
I, too, adore tea. Loved your "breakfast in bed"
I love those dishes. I especially love the photo of four generations of ladies next to your bed. That is one beautiful bed to have breakfast in.

That is beautiful. I used to have a girly room, pink and green, but with three boys and a husband, I finally had to tone it down some. I still use a quilt that has roses on it.
Wow!!! I'm so impressed!!! I love the tray and the dishes are soooo feminine. Anyone who receives it will feel so special.
I so enjoyed your tablescape! Anytime I can have breakfast in bed is a luxury. I just joined myself and had fun...Your creations are absolutely gorgeous. J'adore anything mosaic!
