The Invitations Are Out

This is my favorite time of year.
Kids back at school (OK a few guilt feelings for saying that)

Guests have returned home

Autumn is approaching and life has quited down a bit

SO IT IS TIME TO PARTY!!!!

I am hosting a party for a second year for all the creative women that live in my community.

Sometimes I get so caught up in blogland that I overlook the talent that surrounds me everyday.

So it is time for Creativi-tea Summer 2009

An OH SO EASY party to throw

Everyone brings their favorite creations of the summer

A little bit of showing off, a bit of telling technique

and ALOT OF FUN!

Everyone brings a summer dish to pass and we graze and GAZE for the afternoon.

Last year I featured my mosaic cakes on the tables.

Ohhhhhh this year the centerpieces are going to be soooooooooo cool, but it's a secret and if I told you...well you would know what would happen:)

OK I have to admit maybe we were drinking a little more than tea:)

I so wish I had taken more pictures of the projects...it was my first time to throw this little party so I was a little less than organized. I promise to show you some of the wonderful creations from this year's party.
OH I WISH YOU COULD ATTEND!!!
Wouldn't it be oh so fun for all of us to get together.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM what do you think about an ONLINE
CREATIVI-TEA???
I think I am going to work on this little idea. In fact I will probably stay awake all night planning this little idea in my head.
What do you think? I would love your input!
Stay tuned for details!!!

Enjoy!

What do I think of the idea Kelley? Well, let me start off by asking you to contact a real estate agent for me so that I can see about acquiring a home in your area so that I can attend for REAL! ;)
As for the Creativity (excuse me, I left out the tea) Party online...I think that sounds like a blast! However, I'm so darn busy with Silver Bella preparations that everything I've made, I sent off already. I have nothing made for myself. Isn't that how it always goes? Am I the only one who has glue on my fingers and ink on my face and nothing to show for it?
Well, maybe if I stayed home once in a while too...that would give me more time.
Whew...see what happens when you get me thinking?
Or the question REALLY is...see what happens when you ask me for my opinion? ;)
All I DO know is that I can't wait to see the photos of your party fun and if you do decide to have the party online too...I'll fix me a drink for sure and mingle with the guests as I cannot promise I would have anything whipped up for show!!!!
(I really need to learn how to compact my comments, I really get out of hand sometimes! My apologies)

Hello Kelley, just found your blog and I´m enjoying it so much. Would like to be around to assist to your tea party with your community creative women... but I´m very far away, in Chile, southamerica. Anyway, I´ll be in the online tea party... if you don´t mind...
Thank you and I´ll be back.

Hi Kelley,
I'm with Jodie on wanting you to find me a home to rent so I can consider myself one of your neighbors so I can come for real.
It looks like more fun than one should be allowed.
I have a friend who hosts a holiday boutigue in her home at Chritmastime and we all have so much fun showing off what we have made. Those cakes are beautiful!!!
Hugs,
June

Oh Kelley!
I so wish I lived in the area, as you can bet I would be there. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Fall coming. Now this online creativi-tea, I am in. Count me in for whatever you decide to do. I just love your creativi-tea in your blog. I don't know how you find the time to do so many things with a horse farm to run. I love Dottie the most in your babies. She stole my heart. Stop by soon, I so love it when you do. Country hugs, Sherry

Ummmm, Kelley, my table setting is missing? Chuckle!

TY for popping over ... girlie, I had to stop myself or I'd have been on there all night writing 'memories' of childhood. Had to save some for other posts ...

Have a great week. TTFN ~ Marydon

Hi Kelley!
I thought I would pop over and say hi. I forget to send you my address for the horseshoe win. I am so excited about it. Things have been a little hectic around the house. If you go to my profile, you will find my email and then I can send you my address. I am so sorry I did not remember to get it to you. Have you thought any more on the idea of our on-line tea? I am excited about that idea. Please keep me posted. Country hugs sweetie, and thanks again, Sherry
