I love Primroses they say spring to me like no other flower. I was thrilled to find them at the local Lowes, I brought them home thinking I would fill a basket with the primroses but everything I tried didn't do them justice. Then a thought...let's play dress up.
The black plastic and peat moss pots left a little to be desired so...
I pulled out some cheery fabric, a glue stick and dressed up the pots and finished them off with black and white ribbon. So simple!
These little guys have been the center of my tablescapes all week.
AND everyday I am rewarded with more flowers!

Love your sidebar "owned by a Yorkie"...

Nice centerpiece dress up! I'm curious as to the different tablescapes that accompanied that! ;-)
Just GAH-GEOUS!The perfect centerpiece. What a clever idea. Love the fabric combo, too! Lovely!
Love how you dressed up those little primroses. Lovely!
I was at at a spring luncheon last year for about 200 people and every setting had a primrose plant. The tables were gorgeous!
Love the idea for the flower pots -- you have solved a problem for me! Also, the flowers are gorgeous.

How pretty! And I so love color that pops! Especially on a cloudy and rainy day like today.
I just added my first tablescape Thursday! I cheated a bit by using photos I took from a recent flower show but next time I will add my own!
Warmly,
Sue
Beautiful -- and I, too, love primroses and would love to have a primrose path but . . . primroses don't like June on on the prairie! I have a couple in pots that I bought this year -- I'm hoping to be able to "summer" them over inside!
Oh, I love primroses. They are my most favorite flower.
You know they are truly a biannual but often sold as a perennial. So don't be upset if they don't bloom next year.
And when planting them outside, be sure to keep colors together and far from those of a different color, so as to keep their true colors. When planted next to each other, say a red next to a blue, they will change their color when they are pollinated. But maybe you already know all that. :-)
Oh and....I love the way you dressed them up with fabric....wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing that.
Hope your day has been beautiful

What a great idea to cover the pots with fabric. The ribbon around the top and bottom really gives it a nice finish. Very pretty!
