Horse Crazy

It's a crazy time of year!

Phantom

The horses are my main focus right now.

Class-of-2008

The Yearlings are getting ready to go to the Trainers or to be sold.

Class-of-2009

The Weanlings are weaned and not sure

that they like their new life without "Mom"

Off to the Quarter Horse Congress

I am getting ready to go to the All American Quarter Horse Congressin Columbus Ohio, the largest horse show in the world.

I'm packing our Motor Home to live and entertain in for a few days and of course it always takes longer than planned.

So my blog right now is coming in a far second

but when I return, back on the blog wagon I will be.

Miss you blogging buddies!

Be home soon.

The Invitations Are Out

This is my favorite time of year.
Kids back at school (OK a few guilt feelings for saying that)

Guests have returned home

Autumn is approaching and life has quited down a bit

SO IT IS TIME TO PARTY!!!!

I am hosting a party for a second year for all the creative women that live in my community.

Sometimes I get so caught up in blogland that I overlook the talent that surrounds me everyday.

So it is time for Creativi-tea Summer 2009

An OH SO EASY party to throw

Everyone brings their favorite creations of the summer

A little bit of showing off, a bit of telling technique

and ALOT OF FUN!

Everyone brings a summer dish to pass and we graze and GAZE for the afternoon.

Last year I featured my mosaic cakes on the tables.

Ohhhhhh this year the centerpieces are going to be soooooooooo cool, but it's a secret and if I told you...well you would know what would happen:)

OK I have to admit maybe we were drinking a little more than tea:)

I so wish I had taken more pictures of the projects...it was my first time to throw this little party so I was a little less than organized. I promise to show you some of the wonderful creations from this year's party.
OH I WISH YOU COULD ATTEND!!!
Wouldn't it be oh so fun for all of us to get together.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM what do you think about an ONLINE
CREATIVI-TEA???
I think I am going to work on this little idea. In fact I will probably stay awake all night planning this little idea in my head.
What do you think? I would love your input!
Stay tuned for details!!!

Enjoy!

Pink Saturday!

How can it be Saturday again already?

Well if it is Saturday its PINK SATURDAY and that's OK with me.

Vintage-Wash-Pitcher
Last weekend I found this vintage wash pitcher of course detailed in pink.

My-Gardens-Roses

I couldn't wait to get home and fill it full of my garden's almost red not quite pink roses.

Vintage-with-Roses

The result has made me smile all week.

Now some exciting news..

I want to announce the winner of last PINK SATURDAY'S giveaway.

Just-In-Time

It is Sherry at Country Wings in Phoenix

Congratulations Sherry!!!!!

Last Saturday Beverly asked each of us to mention a pink blogger that we have never visited before this Saturday.

Sherry is my girl, she has a wonderfully heart felt blog. You will feel very welcome.

As always a big thanks to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting this great event. I look forward to it every week, sometimes I am unable to participate due to time but that doesn't stop me from visiting as many Pink Bloggers as I can.

It is easy as pie to do all you have to do is click on How Sweet the Sound and you will be directed to list of all participants for that week.

Finally am asking for a little help... YES I am giving away a HORSESHOE each month but I have yet to unveil this month's horseshoe because I am unsure of what the theme should be.

It is a little early for autumn and a little late for spring and birdies. I would love any suggestions that you might have.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment one time during the month. Wishing you a wonderful PINK SATURDAY and loads of GOOD LUCK!

Enjoy!
