A Legend in PINK

A "rose among roses"
"A candle in the wind"
Norma Jean.

A legend of our time,
what makes her so fascinating???

Some might say it was her beauty,
yes, she was beautiful but I think it is her
innocence and hope that shine in her photographs
that captures our hearts.

A Legend in Pink

I celebrate PINK SATURDAY with a series of digital collages of Marilyn Monroe.

I blended her famous image with flowers from my garden.

This one from the "The Last Sitting" touches my heart, an unguarded moment.

Thank you Beverly for being our wonderful hostess each and every Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday to Everyone!!!

Enjoy!

Happy Pink Saturday sweetie. I so love these pictures you have captured of Marilyn with your flower garden. How beautiful, it is just beautiful. I love the last picture also. Isn't that just the most playful one of all? I love them and thank you for sharing them sweetie.

In my last post, you asked me about the little horseshoe. Sadly I never did receive it. I had been gone for about 4 weeks. 3 back home to spend time with family, my niece passed away, and then I was on travel for work. I checked with the kids who were watching the house while we were away, but no boxes came for me. It is okay sweetie. Don't worry about it. We have a locked gate, and the mailman would have had to slip it under the gate, and if it doesn't fit, he leaves our mail on the sidewalk. Sadly we didn't get several things. My SIL sent a sympathy card and a little extra to me, and it never came either. I also was supposed to receive another little box with some magnets I purchased, and I didn't get those either. Go figure?

It's the thought that counts you know. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving sweetie. Country hugs and love, Sherry

The last one is my favorite! She was a beautiful woman. I do actually think she was prettier as a brunette, her original hair color. She's beautiful no what matter what color though. Happy Pink Saturday and have a splendid weekend!

Kelley, so lovely. Yes, Photoshop intimidates me. Thankfully, I have never had the time or the program. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. But, good for you. Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Kelley, Love what you did with your photograph for Pink Saturday. Beautiful! My neighbor just got a new 9 month old filly yesterday and I watched as she was taken off the trailer and into her new home. She took to the new pasture so well and her new playmate. Hope to post photos soon. Happy Pink Saturday.
