The Tapestry of autumn is gone
the winds of change blew through in the last 3 days
Oh My!
I have never witnessed such wind or the result of
(can you see the wind???)
Lake Michigan swelled with waves of 21 feet
I would have loved to captured the sight
but I saw so many trees and power lines down I
decided to "hunker" down at home
I harvested the last of my flowers the day before the storm
and have been enjoying the last hurrah of a wonderful summer.
After a week long celebration of
we have returned home knowing
that our daughter and her new husband
are happy and healthy!
Congratulations Dear Ones!
So now we have to wave Good-Bye to Autumn
and await the Lace of Winter

Hi I stopped by your blog. I saw Lake Michigan and had to wonder where you were. I live in Michigan and am always looking for fellow Michiganders. I tried to find the profile you refer to buy alas I can't locate it anywhere. Love Cutter! As a "mom" to Bailey (Boo) and Cookie (monster), my two Yorkies, I always admire another sweetie.
We also had horrific winds, and the cove outside has Ice on it this morning. Winter is upon us so hunker down by that nice fireplace.
