Pumpkin Possessed!

I am still under my PUMPKIN SPELL, in fact I think I am PUMPKIN POSSESSED!

It all started innocently enough,

I was going to paint a few pink pumpkins and then...

I had so much fun I thought everyone I know should have

a Kelley Designer Pumpkin.

Well...you know the story, more pumpkins than time. BUT...

I wasn't going to let the pumpkins get the best of me.

SO I paint pumpkins when I drink coffee,

I paint pumpkins when I eat lunch

I paint pumpkins while I'm on the phone

I paint pumpkins when I watch CSI Miami

I paint pumpkins while boiling the pasta

Well they are done. off to their new homes.

I have a few to share today and will add a few more in the next day or so.

They are silly

They are fun

They have names, according to who will receive them

but I can't reveal the names of the "girls" I just showed you because

not all the pumpkins are in their new homes

and I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.

The Magical Season

I LOVE FALL!

I have been busy doing all sorts of things to celebrate the season.

I gathered the last of my garden's flowers for this centerpiece.

The leaves of my world are vibrant as they say "Good Bye"

The pumpkins have been calling me to play "dress up" with them. I used a creation by Love Manor (a very spooky place) and added painted accessories to perk up this little pumpkin.

THIS little guy will stay inside and be a "treat for me"

I close with a heart felt collage that I put together

My minds eye created it

The leaves in my yard that shine so brighly now

will soon fade and blow away BUT...

they are captured forever to remind me of the quiet russell and beauty of the season.

SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!

We have fancy shoes

We have show your toes shoes

We have Minnie Mouse shoes

We have wedding shoes

But do you have full moon shoes?

Happy Halloween shoes?

Silly Willy Do you Dare shoes?

Of course you do!!!!!

You ask where are they?????

well...

they are in a dark, dark place

perhaps in a mini shoe coffin

covered in dust

and you thought they were dearly departed

BE BRAVE!

Dig up those shoes !

and sprinkle a little moon dust around

and the magic of the season will surround those little shoes

the sparks of your imagination will fly

and WALA you have given new life to those goody two shoes

and now they are Fancy Dancy BOO Shoes

So jump right in!

Your deceased "dogs" are barking but

they want to HOWL AT THE MOON!

Now my new BOO shoes will dance me away to A Fanciful Twist to visit all

the BRAVE, SCARY and CREATIVE Party goers

There Is No Place Like Home

There

There is no place like home.
After a couple of weeks of travel I GET TO STAY HOME

YEAH!

I do love going on the road to show the horses

It truly is a mind vacation...in the show world

the horses always come first

the news of the world can wait.

Our stay at the Quarter Horse Congress was very successful

but unfortunately not in the show ring.

We were just out of making the finals a couple of times by just a point.

But...after 15 years of showing I know SUCCESS isn't always about WINNING!

IT IS ABOUT:

the relationship between you and your horse

the HEART your horse gives to you

the friendships we have enjoyed for years

and watching the little ones grow up to be fierce competitors

a change of pace

watching the foals that were born on our farm show for the first time

the THRILL of competition!!!

SO home I am, I look forward to catching up with everyone that

left me a message of GOOD LUCK and safe travel

I can't wait to see what has been happening in your world!

Home But Still Running

Home from the Congress but running around like crazy to catch up,



off to FFF (Forced Family Fun) for the weekend and then..

Horse Crazy

It's a crazy time of year!

The horses are my main focus right now.

The Yearlings are getting ready to go to the Trainers or to be sold.

The Weanlings are weaned and not sure

that they like their new life without "Mom"

I am getting ready to go to the All American Quarter Horse Congressin Columbus Ohio, the largest horse show in the world.

I'm packing our Motor Home to live and entertain in for a few days and of course it always takes longer than planned.

So my blog right now is coming in a far second

but when I return, back on the blog wagon I will be.
