A Luxury

 Fresh flowers are such a luxury

My flower gardens are abundant this year

The rock garden is over flowing with roses and chipmunks

Summer popcorn is hopping in the hydrangeas

The Brown Eyed Susans sway and dance in the wind

It's like having a Flower Market in my own back yard

 I harvest the little beauties early in the morning

Never quite sure where they will end up

If I could I would
send an abundant bouquet to you

August Break, Day 6, Happy Birthday!

 Today is a Special Day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

I am fortunate to be able to talk to her everyday

I call her friend

I am fortunate that she  is sooooo cute,

because I am going to look just like her in 20 years

Lucky me, we share the love of horses

It is a gift that we live in the same town 6 months of the year

                            

       She is truly a bright light in my life!

I share her love of gardening,

SHINE ON for many gardens to come!

August Break

The summer is getting away from me in a most dreamy way

so much to do so little summer

Life...A Merry Go Round

My MErRy Go ROuNd seems to move faster each year




this year seems a bit of a BLUR





It just might be all the moments I try to put on my MErRy Go ROuNd :

The last couple of weeks I have:

Celebrated my 30th Wedding Anniversary with the Love of My Life




Attended  the marriage of an old friend


Welcomed guests which included:

My darling daughter and her boyfriend who experienced Michigan for the first time ever


My delightful Mother and Father In-Law, I say this from my heart, they are the best in-laws ever!


My husband's older brother and his lovely wife who don't visit us often enough.


and that was just my overnight guests...


We also had many friends that visited us for dinners or just a cocktail (or two)

Then I added:

An impromptu 300 mile visit to my Grandfather who is 100 years old who thought he might die
but has decided not to (thank goodness)




A visit to a new doctor that has resulted in me  feeling well for the  first time in 6 months.... I am so THANKFUL!




and a new PUPPY(???) named KIX


WHEW!


I feel like a kid who feels like she didn't get enough time riding the MErRy Go RoUNd.


I have neglected my blog and all the wonderful friends that visit, I miss you!


I hope to slow this MeRrY GO RoUnD down, and catch up in the blog world soon.


In the meantime I hope you take time to smell the roses....
(be careful not to step in puppy poop:)

Dreaming of A Tea Party

Last night I had a DREAM



A dream where tea parties were everywhere




Friends from near and far attended



Magic floated in the air



Wonderful exotic teas were served



Cake was served on golden platters

I enjoyed tea with all of my friends
