The More Things Change the More They Stay the Same?

As of this year I split my time between Michigan and Florida.

Two very different worlds

yet very similar...

Currently I am longing for my Michigan

Hopefully very soon I will return.

I try to think what I miss most
and find that my two worlds are not that very different.

I miss the morning path at the farm.

I leave... my morning path to the beach.

I miss my beautiful gardens.

I miss my pink roses.

However, in Florida I leave...
 pink abounding all around me.

I miss the Kellio.

I leave... a starlit pergola.

I miss... the magic of Lake Michigan.

I leave... my morning walk on the beach
where everyday I discover magical treasures.

I miss all the baby horses
that have been part of my life for the last 20 years.

I leave... my grand baby
that I pray will be part of my life for multitudes of 20 years.

I leave... a new world, to me,
of baby seahorses raised by daughter and her husband.

I leave...Seahorse Nurseries.

I leave...being a guest blogger

I really miss my friends in Michigan.

I leave... many new friendships in our new neighborhood.

I have gained new appreciation
 for everything in both worlds.

I also have gained new appreciation
for those of you who are part of my BLOG world.

I left for a while...

and now I am back with greater appreciation
for you who visit and share your world with me.

Enjoy!

Gone Coastal!

I have gone
COASTAL!

I am still in Florida and
enjoying every minute it of it!!!
The beach has become my playground.

OH NO!

My blog has been so neglected but....
I did declare earlier this year that this would be a stress free, guilt free blog.
I love and APPRECIATE those of you that visit and love to touch base with so many "blog" friends even if it is not as often as I would like.

My decorating has taken a tropical route.
I have taken every liberty from the Jimmy Buffet school of decorating.

Can you see this stuff in northern Michigan?
It would look just plain SILLY!

Even my mosaic projects have gone tropical.
I recently transformed these thrift store stools for my daughter's kitchen

I must admit my heart strings are being tugged by all the new foals that have been born this spring.
I have yet to pet the little velvet noses and discover each personality.
Although I know they are being well taken care of
( yes, I'm taking about my Fairy God- Manager, Jona)
I get updates almost on daily basis and pictures as soon as the little ones are born.

How cute is this little guy?
Look at all those spots.
His daddy's name is "SPOTS HOT" so...
how does the name "3 Hot Spots" sound?

This little girl is the last of the foals this year.
A real beauty!

She reminds me of one of the greatest beauties of all time.
Grace Kelly.
Naming her after the late Princess of Monaco
she would have really big hooves to fill.
Maybe too much pressure:)

I am taking time to smell the flowers, or roses, as it might be.

I have never been one to sit back and enjoy the present.

This year I am trying to change that.

I think I am succeeding.
It's amazing how growing older changes your perspective
on what is important in life.

As my time in Florida is moving into the
Sunset Mode.

I'll say...
"See ya later"
and take off to Northern Michigan.

In the meantime you can find me on the beach.
I hope you are doing well
and thank you so much for visiting this "sometimes" blogger.

Enjoy!

PINK BUNNIES

Pink to me is an Easter color and Easter mean lots of bunnies of course! So let's meet those hip hopping rabbits.

BuTLeR BuNNy is here to greet you, Welcome! He has been with me for many years of service that equals none other. All my guests smile when they find him in the most surprising places.

Please relax and "BuTLeR" will get you a spot of tea. One lump or two?

Now that we have enjoyed our tea let's take BaBY BuNNy for a stroll. The buggy knows the way it has logged at least 100 miles over the years from our daughter's Easter Adventures. I think every puppy and kitten we have ever owned has had at least one ride in the BUnnY BuGGy

Thank you for visiting! I so enjoy visitors. Now let's all get on our pink ponies, take to the sky and fly over to Beverlys at How Sweet the Sound to visit all the other wonderful Pink Saturday Bloggers.

The Love of Valentines!

Oh my favorite holiday! I think it is in February because everything is soooooooooooo dreary with the exception of Valentines Day. It warms my soul with all the reds and pinks and all the romance. I also love it because gifts are not expected but are given to those we love and care about just to say "you are special".

I would love to share a up of tea with you!

Sending little Valentine Wishes your way.

Stop by everyday this month and I plan to have a little "VALENTINE " TREAT to share with you!

Sending Heartfelt Wishes!

Kelley
