Horse Play

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
I did...it was quiet but nice and...
I received a gift that wasn't wrapped
It wasn't under the tree
I didn't even know that I might wish for it
It didn't cost a penny

It was a spectacular show of horse play
compliments of several young geldings at our farm.

Meet the Instigator

Meet-Irish
"Irish"

and his

Partner in Crime

Meet-Phantom

"Phantom"
Double Trouble

Double-Trouble

To say the least!

OK-Lets-Play

Boys will be boys

Crash

A body slam here and there

OH...the youngest gelding wants to get in on the action

Zip-Nip

His name is "Zip", this looks like a Zip Nip to me

"Irish" isn't going to let him get away with a "drive by" Nip

So the wrestling starts

You-Better-Say-Uncle

I can almost hear "Irish" telling "Zip" "YELL UNCLE"

Still Friends!

The horse play is over and all is well

The terrible twosome are best of friends again

Ain't-Misbehaving????

Now they are trying to give me the" innocent angel" look.

It was great fun to watch,
I hope you enjoyed their little show.

Enjoy!

Oh Kelley, what a fabulous show! I needed a break from doing some revisions on my master's thesis which is tedious. Horses are my absolute favorite beast and these two are killer gorgeous! I love how their "robe" as we say in French, gets thick and fuzzy! They need all the warmth they can get out there! What adorable faces they have. My husband ordered a handmade horse from my darling friend Patricia Cabrera from Woolytales Miniatures. She fashions all sorts of animals from wool from her farm in N.Carolina. My gift is a darling white foal with glass blue eyes!!! Have a wonderful New Years and may God bless you and your terrible twosome!!! Anita

Thank you Kelley for such kind words about my picture! I just showed my husband your blog...I had laughed out loud when I saw those guys. They made my day! Give us more shows when the guys are frisky; it is the best medicine for a stressful day! Anita

Wonderful action shots! It's as if they put on a Christmas show just for you. In the last shot his grin almost suggests he's asking you, "How was that, want to see it again?" Unlike my son and his pals your boys won't be suffering from wedgies.

I so enjoyed these pictures...You lead an enviable life...what a great gift and double so, especially since you captured the moment.
I have been reading a new blog called http://thepioneerwoman.com/
she lives on a ranch and I thought of you while reading about her today...she doesn't have your beautiful sense of style, but she loves her horses and tells of her romance with her husband she nick named "Marlboro Man" pretty funny stuff.

Happy New Year Kelley, thank you for allowing me to visit.

HI KELLEY! WOW! I was just looking at your blog again and got into the photo show site that you have on your sidebar! How very sweet of you to come by and wish me a Happy New Years!! I wish you as well, a wonderful, happy and healthy life my dear friend. Give Nip and Tuck and his buddies a hug from me, would ya'? Do horses let you hug them? :) I want one so badly...

Happy New Year Sweetie...
It has been a wonderful year in 2009 and I can't wait to see what 2010 brings to each of us.

Kelley, my how they have grown. Aren't they just the most beautiful creatures ever? What personalities they have. I love Phantom's face. It is so beautiful and mystical. The snow is so pretty and then to see them play like children. Creatures have playlike characters in them too. Oh thank you so much for sharing.

I cannot tell you the countless times that I have came to your blog so low, and just looking at the post and the pics, it has given me new hope. I thank you for that Kelley. We have laughed together, we have smiled together and we have cried together. Every moment a precious one. I just thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Here's wishing you happiness, love, prosperity, peace and good health.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
