Bucket Salad

A Fresh salad is a sure sign of spring...well since spring is a little behind schedule this year I decided to help her along.

A hanging basket of "spring mix" salad greens. I think this would be a great Mothers Day gift, the gift that just keeps on giving. Just pick the greens at the base and they produce more.

A wonderful taste of spring was yummmmmy!

Another sure sign of spring!

Hi Kelley,
Loved the stuff you sent Jodie in the pink & green swap. I got to see it in person last week! So nice to meet you. Love your blog!
Glad you had fun watching us tear up Louisiana! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

What a fantastic idea! I would have never thought about planting some salad greens in a hanging basket! My husband and I have been discussing the upside down tomato planters which he doesn't think the plants would stay in so we probably won't be doing that one. We have planted salad greens in the garden before but it grossed me out because there was some grass and the little bugs on it so I didn't pick it anymore! lol I will be looking for a hanging basket tomorrow! I'll need 3. One for me, one for mom and one for my grandmother! Thanks!

Also that Sweet Lila Rose is sooo adorable! Don't you just love babies!

Hugs,
Angela

Hello there Miss Teacup Mosaic,
I've been out perusing the land of blogs and came upon your your pretty little place. I like that you have a variety of things in the mix, including that beautiful little filly. I have a lot of female family family members that are into the ponies and riding them. I think they are a beautiful animal but they haven't become a passion of mine, yet! I do enjoy hearing about them though.
I would love to come by and visit again soon, maybe have some fresh garden salad...
